Currently searching for a bilingual HR Generalist! This position will focus on employee relations, talent acquisition, administration, onboarding, and may support payroll from time to time. This individual will guide the implementation of policies, will support engagement and retention, and will be interacting with high level management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Take charge of and oversee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.
• Ensure optimal headcount and staffing levels.
• Provide HR administrative support, including data entry, verifying employment, processing employee paperwork, and maintaining electronic records.
• Advise leadership on HR policies and procedures, offering guidance on employee issues as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with employees and leadership teams.
• Handle unemployment claims administration and assist with managing leave of absence, FMLA, and disability claims.
• Support the administration of workers' compensation injuries, including filing claims, communicating with employees, and implementing return-to-work programs.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new employees and contribute to recruiting and talent acquisition efforts.
• Serve as backup support for payroll functions.
• Recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Interpret and communicate company policies, programs, and procedures to employees.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2-5 years of related experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
