Inside Sales Representative

Small employee-owned company looking for an outgoing inside salesperson to drive sales and assist customer needs.  Everyone at this company is interested in your success!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct inside sales activities, including prospecting and developing opportunities
• Understanding customer or prospect needs and offering solutions and support
• Researching potential leads from web searches or other digital sources
• Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, etc.
• Update and maintain the sales database of customer information and prospects
• Assist sales management in conveying information to sales engineers
• Provide sales literature to prospects to promote company products and services
• Qualify and route opportunities to appropriate territory sales engineer for further development
• Follow-up on sales call reports, sample requests, customer projects and other requests from customers or prospects
• Work with company sales and technical departments to provide technical assistance to customers
• Actively participate in sales budgeting and sales / technical training / meetings
• Assist in the development of sales training materials
• Expand industry knowledge and technical sales training

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and Manufacturing process experience a must
• 2 years’ experience in inside sales of lubricants, specialty chemicals or related industries
• Previous experience in a call center environment or related sales position preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
