Our client is a producer of ingredient solutions used in multiple industries. They are in search of a hands-on Pilot Plant Engineer to join their team at their northwest Wisconsin facility, roughly 60 miles from St. Paul, MN.
As a Pilot Plant Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide technical expertise in fermentation process
- Responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in CAPEX projects
- Support new product development and scale-up
- Promote positive safety behaviors and ensure projects adhere to safety policies
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000

Job Requirements
As a Pilot Plant Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering degree
- 3+ years of experience in food, fermentation, extraction, and possibly biofuels
- Previous experience with process scale-up from pilot plant to full-scale
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies is ideal
