Process Safety Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a global chemical company whose products are used in many different industries. They are looking for a Process Safety Engineer to add to their team in the greater Chicagoland area.

As a Process Safety Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop, manage, and ensure compliance of PSM standards, programs, and regulations
- Provide site training on PSM program
- Lead site incident investigations and create corrective action plans
- Manage site process safety risk and provide corrective actions
- Provide technical expertise and serve as subject matter expert
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 + 7% bonus

Job Requirements
As a Process Safety Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering or Engineering
- 1+ years of hands-on process/production engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing setting
- Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility
- Commitment to safety
- Experience with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, failure modes, and effects analysis is ideal
