Our client is global chemical manufacturer, and their product has a variety of applications. They are in search of Project Engineer with in-plant process/production engineering experience for their facility outside of Charlotte, NC. This engineer will be responsible for providing technical support.
As a Project Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage multiple capital projects at once from conception through implementation
- Work with other departments to identify and execute improvement projects
- Adhere to safety policies and standards locally, federally, and company wide
- Prepare and manage all relevant project documentation, estimates, services, suppliers, schedules, etc.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and under budget
Salary Range: $105,000/year - $117,000/year

Job Requirements
As a Project Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment – may also consider industries such as refining, petrochemicals, pulp/paper
- Strong background of process/production engineering
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer with projects in the $50k to $1 million range
- Must have familiarity with PSM
- Experience with batch reactors is a plus
