Retirement Sales Position

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up eligible appointments with plan sponsors of 401k and 403b plans through multiple strategies, networking, cold calling, and referrals
- Work inside of a geographic territory to foster new prospects, reach and exceed goals, cross-sell solutions, and close sales
- Take part in client review meetings with Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) for the top 5-10 clients in the territory to ask clients for introductions and to be a reference for sales opportunities
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Active clean FINRA Series 6, 63 and SIE or must obtain within the first 90 days of employment
- Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within 90 days of employment
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Very motivated
- At least a year of outside business to business sales experience with ability to demonstrate proficiency in selling, prospecting, and presenting
- Displayed cold calling sales ability, with a positive and persistent style
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of group/corporate retirement plans (401k,403b, and 457 plans)
