Sr. Project Manager

The Sr. Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage projects in accordance with company’s established project management methodologies and continue to identify and implement opportunities for improvement to process
  • Lead development and training of project management methodologies, including creation, alignment and implementation of Stage Gate process
  • Develop metrics using project tools for improving prioritization of resources and project portfolio management
  • Identify and communicate potential obstacles in a project, find ways to overcome them, and escalate any issues that may impact timelines or objectives
  • Come up with fresh and creative responses to problems
  • Coordinate and motivate team members. Planning and organizing project meetings is a daily responsibility, and you’ll communicate with people in nearly every department
  • Ensure that all technical, regulatory, operational, and financial steps are followed to deliver a successful launch
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment on substantial changes to direction or timing to complete a project
  • Facilitate post-mortems and implement learnings
  • Act as an idea machine. Provide suggestions to improve their process, efficiency, or ones that address critical business issues, they want to hear them
  • Assist in the execution of special projects and analytics as assigned by senior leadership

  • Advanced degree preferred with PMP certification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant computer programs and applications to effectively manage, track, and document activities and timelines
  • Ability to create, plan, and manage activities effectively
