Job Description
A chemical manufacturing company is hiring for a Buyer. This role will have growth potential into a Purchasing Manager role. This position is located near York, PA. This position will be in office five days a week. Below is an overview:
Buyer – This position will help the procurement team in the purchasing of all needed items including MRO, and raw materials with a multi-million dollar spend.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase wide range of MRO and Raw Materials
- Maintain proper inventory levels using a MRP system
- Negotiate Prices
- Work Cross Functionally with other divisions

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience
- Experience buying chemicals
- Experience in a manufacturing industry
