Job Description
EHS Specialist/Environmental/Health/Safety/EHS/Engineering/Chemicals/Occupational Safety Specialist/CSP/PSM/Chemical Engineering
As an EHS Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Plan and enforce health and safety site action plans, strategies, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Identify areas of possible hazards and implement corrective actions
- Perform safety and emergency response trainings as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement of health and safety performance
- Assist in site audits, reporting, orientations, investigations, and inspections

Job Requirements
As an EHS Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Occupational Safety, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other related Sciences
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
- 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety
- Familiarity with industry practices, regulatory agency requirements and standards in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Safety Professional is a plus
