Job Description

Our client is a leader in specialty material solutions. Their products are used in multiple different industries and help save lives. They currently seek an Engineering Manager to join their operations team in the greater Boston area.

Engineering Manager/Senior Chemical Engineer/Senior Process Engineer/Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Chemical Manufacturing/Production Engineer/Chemical Engineering/Material Manufacturing/Plastic Engineering/Manufacturing

As an Engineering Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Evaluate and identify opportunities for process optimization and process improvements
  • Maintain and keep necessary documentation, budgets, and SOP’s
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all local, federal, and company requirements/standards
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments for improvements, projects, and safety
  • Provide leadership regarding implementation of capital projects and manage capital projects
  • Foster and promote a strong safety culture

Salary Range: $135,000/year - $140,000/year

Job Requirements

As an Engineering Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a process/production role out of chemical manufacturing
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Previous project management experience
  • Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility is a plus
