Job Description
My client, a top-100 CPA firm located in Orange County, CA, is seeking a Tax Director with expertise in NFP clients. Consideration will also be giving to strong Managers and Senior Managers with a desire to progress to Partnership level. This position can be located in either of the firm's Orange County offices, either hybrid or fully in-office, with more remote work also an option.

Job Requirements
Position Requirements:
- Desire to become a tax partner in the Not-For-Profit area at a leading regional CPA firm
- Certified Public Accountant in good standing

- MBT (MST) or JD/ LLM preferred but not required
- More than seven years of professional experience, with predominant and most recent experience at regional, national, or Big 4 CPA firm
- Extensive experience in reviewing or performing compliance on not-for-profit returns (Forms 990/990-PF)
- Extensive experience in reviewing or performing compliance on unrelated business income tax returns (Forms 990-T)
- Experience consulting with not-for-profit management on various tax-related management issues
- Experience in technical research and in training staff, seniors, and managers how to perform technical research
- Successful in developing and mentoring staff toward promotion
- Experience defending clients in IRS audits
- Record of success in developing relationships within a firm
- Experience with common tax software pertaining to not-for-profit returns
