Associate Media Director, Performance Media
Our client, a growing integrated marketing agency, is seeking an Associate Media Director, Performance Marketing to lead full-funnel media strategy and performance initiatives across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role will focus on driving measurable business results through data-driven media planning, optimization, analytics, and client leadership across paid social, paid search, programmatic, CTV, and emerging digital channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of integrated, cross-channel media strategies across paid social, search, programmatic, CTV, and digital media platforms
- Translate client business goals into measurable media plans, KPI frameworks, audience strategies, and optimization approaches
- Oversee campaign performance, pacing, budget allocation, and ongoing optimization initiatives across multiple accounts
- Utilize GA4 and platform reporting tools to analyze campaign performance, audience behavior, attribution, and conversion trends
- Develop testing roadmaps across audiences, creative, landing pages, and channels to improve performance and efficiency
- Present strategic insights, reporting, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Serve as a senior client-facing lead and trusted strategic partner across assigned accounts
- Partner closely with analytics, creative, account, and media teams to ensure alignment across integrated campaigns
- Mentor and support junior team members across strategy, analytics interpretation, and client communication
- Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and a culture of continuous optimization
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital media strategy, analytics, or integrated media within an agency environment
- Strong experience across paid social, paid search, programmatic, CTV, and omnichannel media planning
- Deep understanding of Google Analytics 4, attribution, conversion analysis, and performance measurement methodologies
- Hands-on experience with platforms/tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, DSPs, Looker Studio, Skai, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Shopify
- Proven experience managing large media budgets and multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment
