Adhesive-Sales Manager
Specialty chemical manufacturer is looking for an experienced adhesive sales manager to join their team. If you have a degree in chemistry and at least 5 years of experience selling durable adhesives, and are goal oriented, this could be a great opportunity for you! Our client offers great benefits!
Duties:
- Increase sales, markets, and profitability of adhesive products to new and existing accounts.
- Build highly successful relationships with accounts to create business.
- Analyze profitability of current and new business situations, recommend, and implement appropriate account strategies.
- Negotiate sales contracts with new and existing accounts to secure sales volumes when appropriate.
- Responsible for industry conference relations and ensuring company is represented in leadership positions.
- Aids in coordinating the efforts of technical service personnel.
- Support the effort of the business to reduce forecasting errors to below 25% by SKU.
- Utilize Salesforce to document customer interactions through call reports, build an opportunity pipeline to support 5-year targets, and maintain market share analysis for the market.
- Maintains and build market information on industry trends with respect to the elastomers market.
- Performs above-mentioned responsibilities safely, ethically and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Maintains a safe work environment.

Salary
$120,000 - $140,000

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with business, chemistry, or chemical engineering focus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the polyurethane adhesive or durable adhesive sales.
- Experience with CRM and utilization of CRM to grow sales and profitability.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft systems including Outlook and Excel.
- Must demonstrate competence with various software packages including Microsoft office and willingness to learn additional company specific software packages.
