Job Description

Adhesives Chemist

Manufacturer serving the automotive industry is seeking an experienced Chemist to develop new products and make improvements for current customers!  Lost of variety of work in formulations, QC, collaboration with engineering and production, and more.  This is an immediate need for someone who can learn on the job quickly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Formulate products as needed
  • Focus on new product development and customer needs
  • QC work when needed
  • Create batch sheets
  • Utilize MRP software

Job Requirements

Technical Qualifications:

  • BS Chemistry or related
  • 3-5 years of industry experience formulating adhesives is preferred. Water-based or hot melts.  Will also consider other types of formulation experience
  • Ability to train with the Senior Chemist on company products
  • Desire to work in a small company where you wear many hats
