Applications Manager

The Applications Manager will be responsible for helping drive the company's growth by leading technical development and support activities of strategic ingredients for the company, including:

*Define and implement development plans that focus on the optimal use of strategic ingredients including, but not limited to, sweeteners, flavors, and functional food ingredients

*Packaging existing information and fill information gaps required to support the technical sale of company's portfolio

*Identify new opportunities, assessing potential value, and opening the door" for supporting sales' close

*Provide product development technical guidance to customers on optimal approaches to their development opportunities.  Build insights based on development learnings that can be used to accelerate customer development timelines

*Work with project management team for maintaining project timelines and budgets within assigned limits

*Coordinate with cross-functional teams for market success including sales, marketing, operations, supply chain and customer service

*Establish communication schedule to update key stakeholders and commercialization of new product launches

Requirements:

*MS/PhD degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required

*experienced in the food and beverages' industry, either in a food ingredients company with sweeteners or flavors or F& B companies' R& D department (food industry preferred)

*Experience in project management / coordination

*Experience in a larger corporate setting, proven track record of sound fundamental business practices

*Success in a smaller, more entrepreneurial environment where opportunities must be identified and seized in order to succeed

*Experience with food ingredients preferred and proven ability to foster and build strategic vendor partnerships and customer relationships

*Experience in a multi-national / global environment preferred

*Equivalent combination of education and experience
