Job Description
Area Manager/Account Representative/Chemical Engineer/Refining/Refinery/Petrochemicals/Technical Sales/Chemicals/Chemical Sales Engineer/Process Chemicals/Process Engineer/Utility Engineer/Sales Engineer
As the Area Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Resolve technical issues in assigned area
- Make recommendations as needed
- Ensure chemicals are providing effective protection on final products
- Manage documentation, submissions, and communication of lab results
- Work with clients to address needs
- Manage a team of roughly 10 direct reports

Job Requirements
As the Area Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or another relevant field
- 5-10 years of experience out of chemicals, petrochemicals, or refining
- Previous technical sales experience is ideal
- Strong technical background
- Ability to manage a team
