Automation Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Controls/Controls Engineer/Chemical Manufacturing/Food Production/Electrical Engineer/Process Engineer/Engineer

Our client is a manufacturer of natural ingredients that are used in multiple different industries. They are currently hiring a hands-on Automation Engineer with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be an assertive, self-starter and an effective problem solver. 

As an Automation Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide daily troubleshooting 
  • Maintenance of electrical equipment and automated systems 
  • Planning, development, implementation of projects
  • Work with Operators, Supervisors, Mechanics and other plant personnel 
  • Lead automation projects from design to installation 

Salary Range: $120,000 - $125,000 plus 10% yearly bonus

Job Requirements

As an Automation Engineer job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering ideal, Electrical may be considered
  • 3+ years batch or continuous process experience
  • Experience with process improvement work ideal 
  • Advanced computer skills with statistic software for data processing (DCS)
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma tools ideal
