Job Description:
Build influential relationships with targeted OEMs, Industry bodies and Test Houses in support of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) strategy. Position the company as the first port of call for advice, consultation and partnership opportunities regarding new technology & industry developments, enabling the company to extract demonstrable commercial value from these relationships (e.g., factory fill positions, service fill approvals)
Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear OEM strategy that will involve a Strategic Account Plan for targeted OEMs
- Be highly effective at representing the company’s interests with industry bodies and targeted OEM’s by taking steps to establish company as industry leaders and influencing industry practice and OEM lubricant specifications
- Cultivate trusted relationships with a wide range of potential influencers & decision makers from different management levels within target OEM’s
- Participate actively in industry societies as directed to advance or maintain a position that is financially and/or technically favorable to company’s technology
- Use industry and OEM knowledge to provide current OEM/industry technical intelligence to product steering groups and business teams
- Assist OEMs as directed in developing strategic goals that are compatible with current company products, service and future capabilities
- May assist in obtaining test sites and OEM hardware contributions for the company field tests

Salary
$100,000 - $130,000
Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
- BS degree in science, business, engineering or related field
- Demonstrated understanding of OEM relationship functions typically acquired through 5+ years of relevant experience in the petrochemical or OEM industry and Sales & Marketing experience
- Familiarity with Automotive Lubricants
Education & Experience Preferred:
- Demonstrated understanding of OEM relationship functions typically acquired through 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- Proven track record in OEM First Fill opportunities
- MBA
