Job Description

· Develop new customers by creating sales strategies, preparing sales plans, and presenting customized offerings to the clients.

· Service existing accounts through understanding their needs, regular updates and timely resolution of their concerns.

· Build in-depth relationship with decision-makers and stake holders at customer accounts through personal visits, and in other professional settings.

· Leverage virtual sales channels, including social media, presentation technology, and webinars.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, M&A’s, new players, new technologies, and emerging regulatory trends.

· Maintain personal network, by participating in professional societies and conferences, and through reviewing professional publications.

· Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

· Recommend new capabilities that could be added in our portfolio of service offerings, which could lead to continued CRO market leadership.

· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new services, delivery schedules, etc.

· Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sale.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree required in an area relevant to the agricultural industry, such as chemistry, agronomy, soil & crop management, crop science, agriculture, etc., A focus on marketing or economics, sustainable agriculture, agricultural chemistry or agribusiness would be valuable.

· Strong Sales and Marketing skills, with a good feel for investment needed vis-a-vis business opportunity.

· Around 8 – 15 years of experience in commercial Agriculture Sales/Marketing. A product development focus would be acceptable if the industry network is strong.

· Possess computer skills and be proficient in CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese that would help with interacting with clients in Mexico, Central and Latin America, would be a real plus.
