Terminal Manager
Job Description
Our client is working through CPS to hire a Terminal Manager for their Baton Rouge facility. This Terminal Manager will have oversight of all safety, personnel, operations and asset integrity at this high volume facility. This is a critical role to ensure the safe and efficient operations. This role will also have visibility within the global organization.
Terminal Manager/Operations Manager/Plant Manager/Leadership/Safety/PSM/Chemicals/Engineering
As the Terminal Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure safety is a top priority for all levels of operations, act as a champion of safety, hold all personnel accountable for safety.
- This is a hands-on, boots to the ground role. Must demonstrate initiative and accountability.
- Must be able to hold people accountable, as well as see the potential in people and develop talent.
- Responsible for asset integrity and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Responsible for the operating budget and the capex budget - multi-million dollar budgets
- Forward thinking, able to create a vision for future development
- Perform risk assessments and mitigate risk
- Able to engage and communicate with all levels, including operations staff through top level executives
Salary Range: $140,00 - $170,00 + 15% - 20% bonus

Job Requirements
- Engineering degree preferred, but not required for relevant experience
- Minimum 10 years of Operations Management, preference for Terminal Management, but will consider chemical manufacturing operations management
- Must have a TWIC card or be able to obtain a TWIC card
- Experience with Process Safety and Hazardous materials
- Familiarity with DCS is a plus
