Overview: We are seeking a motivated Client Service Associate with finance experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retirement accounts and direct participant interaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide top-notch service to clients and plan participants.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for plan participants, responding to inquiries regarding retirement accounts.
- Assist clients with account-related requests, transactions, and problem resolution in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and education to participants on retirement plan features, account access, and distribution options.
- Support senior team members with client service needs, account maintenance, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate processing and participant satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Document and track client interactions in CRM and recordkeeping systems.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or client service, preferably with a focus on retirement accounts.
- Strong knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), or other qualified retirement plans.
- Experience working directly with plan participants required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with recordkeeping platforms a plus.
