A manufacturing company near Naperville, IL for a Commodity Buyer to join their dynamic team.  Below is an overview:

Commodity Buyer - Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the sourcing, contracting and negotiating with vendors for raw materials and metals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Raw Material spend
  • Work closely with vendors, source new vendors to and negotiate best prices
  • Manage the movement of Raw Materials

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Strong Sourcing skills
  • 4 years buyer/purchasing experience within manufacturing environment.
