Senior Cosmetic Chemist
Job Description
Base salary $70,000-$100,000 in base salary annually based on experience
Benefits available including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and paid holidays
An established personal care manufacturer is looking for an experienced R&D Chemist III to join its on-site product development team. In this role, you'll work on a wide range of formulations including skincare, OTC topicals, and sun care, contributing to projects from concept through scale-up and commercialization.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in packaging, regulatory, marketing, and operations—all housed under one roof—to bring high-quality, innovative products to market.

Job Requirements
Requirements:

BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Biology, or related field

8–10+ years of formulation experience in personal care, cosmetics, OTC, or related industries

Strong lab skills with emulsions, balms, creams, or sunscreens

Familiarity with lab and production equipment

Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Consistent job history preferred
