EHS Manager

Our client is a leader in the sustainability space.  The ideal candidate will come from the manufacturing industry with a mix of safety and environmental in their background.  This is a company that is rapidly growing and will be looking to expand in the future.

Duties:

• Manage paperwork for all safety protocols in the facility, i.e., forklift, check off, fire extinguishers, eye wash station and safety walks
• Provide support for process and audits at 6 other facilities
• The ability to travel up to 30% to 6 other facilities
• Manage compliance calendar with monthly audits and the ability to submit reports
• Communicate with regulatory agencies
• Incident investigations
• Assess safety and environmental needs of the facility and spearhead any needed changes

Technical Qualifications:

• 5+ yeas of EHS experience in General Manufacturing or Chemical Manufacturing Industry
• Experience with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Experience with direct communication to regulatory agencies
• Industrial Hygiene experience is a plus
• Experience with safety and environmental audits to ensure they follow standards and regulations
• The ability to communicate with leadership and come up with solutions
• Self-motivated, teamwork ability in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree or industry experience
