EHS Specialist – Multisite

This is a growing organization who is looking for an EHS Specialist with the ability to travel up to 40%.

We are seeking a mid-senior level Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations and will be able to develop and implement programs to ensure compliance.  The EHS Specialist will also be responsible for conducting inspections, training employees, and responding to incidents.


  • Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures
  • Conduct environmental, health, and safety inspections
  • Train employees on EHS procedures
  • Respond to EHS incidents
  • Maintain EHS records
  • Comply with all applicable regulations
  • Represent the company at industry events and meetings
  • Stay up to date on the latest environmental, health, and safety regulations

Job Requirements

Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in EHS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with EHS/OSHA related software and database
  • Strong understanding of environmental, health and safety regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure

Additional Requirement:  Frequent Travel:  This position requires the selected candidate to travel frequently to various company Paint and Coatings sites across the USA.  As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations at multiple locations.  The ability to travel on short notice and work effectively in diverse environments will be essential to the success of this role.  Travel expenses will be covered by the company as per the company’s travel policy.
