Job Description
EHS Specialist/Engineering/Chemistry/EHS/EHS Manager/Safety/Environmental/Health/Senior EHS Specialist/Senior EHS Manager/Building Materials
As an EHS Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local and corporate environmental, health and safety standards
- Develop, implement, and manage an EHS system that provides business processes to support development, manufacturing, sales and technical in compliance with company standards
- Audit manufacturing processes and make recommendations for process safety
- Responsible for site safety training and coaching of employees on safe work behaviors
- Manage site’s ISO 14001 system, including audits

Job Requirements
As an EHS Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in a relevant science related field – environmental, occupational health and safety, chemistry, engineering, etc.
- 7+ years of direct experience in Environmental Health and Safety role
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certified
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulatory standards
- Knowledge of behavior based safety
