Job Description
EHS Specialist/Environmental/Health/Safety/EHS/Engineering/Chemicals/Occupational Safety Specialist/CSP/PSM/Chemical Engineering/OSHA/Waste Disposal/Workers Compensation/Health and Safety/Business/Industrial Management/Chemical Manufacturing
As an EHS Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure all company, local, state, and federal EHS compliance
- Identify areas of possible hazards and implement corrective actions
- Develop and manage EHS trainings
- Plan and enforce health and safety site action plans, strategies, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Assist in site audits, reporting, orientations, investigations, and inspections
- Participate in PHAs and PSSRs

Job Requirements
As an EHS Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related sciences
- 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing facility, chemicals preferred
- Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility is ideal
- Familiarity with industry practices, regulatory agency requirements and standards in a manufacturing environment
