Job Description: We’re seeking a detail-oriented DC Plan Administrator to manage and ensure compliance for our clients' defined contribution retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plan administration, knowledge of regulations, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans.
- Process contributions, distributions, loans, and withdrawals accurately and on time.
- Conduct annual compliance testing (e.g., ADP/ACP, top-heavy, 402(g) limits).
- Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings and ensure ERISA/IRS compliance.
- Calculate employer contributions, vesting, and matching per plan documents.
- Maintain accurate records and participant data.
- Communicate with participants to answer inquiries and support retirement planning.
- Stay updated on retirement plan regulations and trends to advise clients.
Requirements:
- Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or similar certification (preferred).
- 2+ years’ experience in defined contribution plan administration.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
