Our client is a leader in specialty chemical manufacturing. Their products are used in many different industries, including consumer goods, coatings, food additives, and others. They currently seek an Engineering Manager at their facility near Indianapolis, IN.
As an Engineering Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Evaluate and identify opportunities for process optimization and process improvements
- Maintain and keep necessary documentation, budgets, and SOP’s
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all local, federal, and company requirements/standards
- Work cross-functionally with other departments for improvements, projects, and safety
- Provide leadership regarding implementation of capital projects and manage capital projects
- Foster and promote a strong safety culture

Job Requirements
As an Engineering Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering preferred, may consider Mechanical Engineering or other relevant Engineering degree
- 7+ years of experience as a hands-on Process/Project Engineering in a manufacturing environment; chemicals preferred
- Must have experience managing million-dollar projects from cradle to grave
- Experience in a PSM regulated facility is ideal\
- Prior supervision experience
