Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist to join their consulting team. This Specialist will support their client company with regulatory compliance programs and technical support.
Environmental Specialist/Environmental/Engineering/Consulting/Waste Management/Regulatory Compliance/Permits
As an Environmental Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Write permit applications and renewals
- Lead and mentor junior staff members
- Create work scopes and budgets to meet clients needs
- Manage projects and ensure they are completed on time and on budget
- Recommend solutions to maintain regulatory compliance from testing/inspections
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies

Job Requirements
As an Environmental Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Engineering, Geology, or other science related field; Master’s Degree is preferred
- 6+ years of experience in an Environmental Specialist role in a manufacturing or consulting environment
- Strong background writing permits applications and permit renewals
- P.E or PG license is a plus
