Job Description

My client a multi billion dollar global electro-mechanical manufacturing company is seeking a Global Category Manager. This position can be located in Downers Grove, IL or Troy, MI.

Global Category Manager – Reporting to the Sr. Global Category Lead, this position will be responsible for managing a $250M global spend of resins.

  • Develop global strategies for assigned categories
  • Lead initiatives for improvement and change.
  • Define category procurement strategies
  • Drive Total Cost of Ownership
  • Source new vendors and maintain relationships

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5+ years in a strategic sourcing role with a manufacturing company
  • Experience working globally
