Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve business goals.
  • Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the HR systems environment.
  • Identify new external developments and / or emerging issues within the “people systems” space and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
  • Drive advances in technologies to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities through improvements to the efficiency of technology environment.
  • Develop functional and operational policies and take responsibility for creating underlying operational procedures and monitoring their implementation.
  • Lead, develop and coach the HR systems team of 6 specialists to grow personal and organizational capabilities of the team.
  • Provide informal coaching to others throughout the organization in area of expertise.
  • Develop and/or deliver budget plans and business cases with guidance from senior colleagues.

Job Requirements

  • Leader in the HR systems space with a proven track record of delivering successful implementations, upgrades, and production support in the HR systems space.
  • A minimum of 10 years in HR systems; with at least 6 years of leadership experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience of Workday with a wide knowledge of configuration basics across the platform: knowledge of Service Now HR module and payroll systems a plus.
  • Experience leading multicultural teams across different regions of the globe through requirements gathering, gap analysis, build, testing and implementation of new tools.
  • This position requires a Bachelor level degree.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively in a matrix organization.
