About us:
We are an established software company that is looking to add a Go/Golang Software Engineer to its platform engineering team. The group is responsible for building and supporting highly available backend services that power critical business applications used by customers around the world.
The team has a strong engineering culture centered around test-driven development, code quality, and continuous improvement. They are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to systems that must be both reliable and scalable.
Role Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services primarily in Go/Golang
• Write well-tested code using test-driven development (TDD) principles
• Build and maintain unit, integration, and automated test suites
• Develop APIs and distributed services that support a growing platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization on architecture and technical design
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Help improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity

Job Requirements
Tech Requirements:
• Professional experience developing software in Go/Golang
• Strong understanding of TDD, automated testing, and software craftsmanship
• Experience building scalable backend systems or platform infrastructure
• Familiarity with modern service-oriented architectures and API development
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment
