Job Description

Our client, a top creative agency, is seeking a talented Group Account Director for one of the agency’s premiere accounts. (Option to work fully remote from anywhere USA).

In this role, the Group Account Director will oversee and help deliver the kind of creative marketing communications and strategic thinking that smashes established category assumptions. As a key collaborator and leader, this person will unite and motivate various departments toward a common goal. This role requires someone who is always able to be thinking ahead, while ensuring execution is on point.

  • Understands abides by and promotes the agency’s business practices and philosophies
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure all work is done on time, on strategy and on budget
  • Work with EVP to address new business opportunities, including growing current accounts, pitching, and presenting capabilities
  • Delivers high-value, strategically driven work
  • Provides strong leadership and strategic direction
  • Work in conjunction with the Group Account Director to ensure client satisfaction
  • Oversees all new go-to-market plans, programs and creative to provide strategic direction
  • Key communicator between clients, teams and management
  • Identify problems and respond with effective solutions
  • Communicates with the entire team all relevant information and insights regarding the clients’ business


Job Requirements

Group Account Director (with option to work fully remote from anywhere USA)

This person should have at least 10 years of experience from within a creative agency setting, be a creative problem solver, able to think outside the box and navigate an ever-changing environment, well versed in digital and social but able to think in an omnichannel approach to strategy.  A highly strategic, critical thinker with excellent leadership skills will be required; reporting to the EVP, this person will lead strategy and will oversee a team of 10. The ideal candidate in this role has experience working on accounts in QSR, Lifestyle Brands, Gaming and/or Entertainment.
