Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer with customers around the world. They currently seek a Continuous Improvement Engineer to add to their team outside of Houston, TX. This engineer will focus on production improvements but will also assist with operations and maintenance when needed.

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work closely with other groups to ensure efficient production solutions
• Develop and implement strategic long-term improvement plans
• Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities
• Assist with capital projects as needed
• Ensure compliance of all legal, environmental, safety, and company policies  
• Become subject matter expert

Salary Range: $100,000/year - $120,000/year

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree
• 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in an industry setting
• Previous improvement project experience is a plus
