In-Plant Manager – Printing Inks

The In-Plant Manager – Printing Inks will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ability to analyze customer schedule through their network, estimate and schedule inks for press production
  • Provide documentation for customer based upon their needs, monthly usage
  • Communicate with CSR staff
  • Maintain excel documents of customer inventory
  • Custom color matching on site including preparation of professional looking lab proofs for customer approval
  • Press side technical services when needed
  • Blending and QC of finished inks that meet color specifications
  • Staging and returning inks for press / inventory control

Requirements:

  • NDG/BS Chem with 2-4 years minimum color matching experience
  • Candidate must understand and be familiar with color spectrophotometry instruments and software
  • 3 years minimum Flexo/Gravure ink handling experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Customer focused
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of flexible packaging inks
  • Capable of working flexible hours
