Industrial Coating Chemist
Family-owned manufacturer is seeking a coatings chemist to join their team. If you have a minimum of 5+ years in industrial coating formulation, this could be a great role for you! This role has high visibility and offers competitive benefits.
Duties:
- Formulate, reformulate, and improve coatings products
- Troubleshoot customer and production issues
- Support product scale-up and manufacturing transition
- Travel to customer sites for technical support as needed
- Collaborate with production and lab teams
- Maintain and update ERP system data
- Assist with QC responsibilities when required
- Support continuous improvement and new product development
Salary
$85,000 - $115,000

Technical Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years in industrial coatings or related field
- Experience with alkyd and/or acrylic formulations (2K systems a plus)
- Strong background in formulation, reformulation, and scale-up
- Experience troubleshooting coating performance issues
- Familiarity with the lab testing, production support, and ERP systems
