Seeking a Industrial Engineer for an exciting role in Frankfort, KY. This leading manufacturer provides excellent professional growth opportunities and benefits.
 
Responsibilities for the Industrial Engineer include:
  • Developing production improvements through lean manufacturing principles
  • Reviewing machine layouts to increase productivity
  • Keeping abreast of quality standards and utilizing resources to solve quality problems
  • Working to reduce scrap amount
  • Coordinating Profitable Improvement Plans (PIP) projects

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Industrial Engineer include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or other engineering discipline
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Six Sigma strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Proven ability in implement Kaizen principles to operations and maintenance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills
