Inside Sales Rep

Inside Sales role, in-office work M-F daytime hours.  Company is a successful small business in the metal industry.  Work alongside a tenured sales rep gaining new business and working with current customers!

The duties and responsibilities of the Inside Sales Rep will include:

  • Cold calling, making multiple outbound calls to potential clients and also calls to current customers
  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • Weekly meetings to report progress

Job Requirements

Technical Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the steel industry or other technical industries – materials, chemicals, etc.
  • Desire to work in a small company
  • Basic computer skills
