Job Description
Lab Manager
Small, growing company looking for an experienced chemist out of the coatings or inks industry. This is a leadership position that will run both the quality and R&D departments.
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of both the QC and R&D labs
- Development of new products
- Color matching of products (they use X-Rite software)
- Direct contact with customers addressing needs, performance issues, etc.

Job Requirements
Technical Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a chemist / lab manager position, preferably out of paints, inks, etc.
- History of formulating and developing products from the lab through scale-up in manufacturing
- 1+ years of people management experience highly preferred
- Ability to visually distinguish colors
