Seeking a Lead Mechanical Reliability Engineer for an exciting role in Louisville, KY.  The ideal candidate will have proven predictive maintenance experience on rotating equipment. This leading manufacturer offers exceptional benefits and professional growth opportunities. 

Responsibilities for the Lead Mechanical Reliability Engineer include:

  • Overseeing the Predictive Maintenance program including vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasonic, and oil analysis
  • Working with maintenance leaders to ensure compliance to the Mechanical Integrity program
  • Leading the Site Bad Actor Program and Metrics
  • Performing equipment root cause failure analysis
  • Analyzing equipment histories, maintenance costs, and system failures

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Lead Mechanical Reliability Engineer include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • At least 10 years of experience in predictive maintenance of rotating equipment within a chemical or heavy industrial environment
  • Proven experience evaluating tank, piping and heat exchanger condition in accordance with ASME, API or STI standards
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Vibration Analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasound analysis
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team building skills
