Licensed Property & Casualty Client Service Representative (Hybrid Schedule)

Position Overview: A reputable insurance firm is seeking a licensed Customer Service Representative (Property and Casualty) to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their property and casualty insurance needs, providing exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, providing policy information, and addressing their insurance-related concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process policy endorsements, changes, and renewals accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist clients with claims reporting, follow-up, and resolution, providing guidance and support throughout the claims process.
  • Conduct policy reviews and assessments to identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate coverage options, and ensure clients have adequate protection for their assets.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation, updating agency management systems and files as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
