Logistics Specialist

I am a recruiter specializing in Supply Chain Management and I am working with a chemical manufacturing company recruiting for a Logistics Specialist near West Dundee, IL. Below is an overview:

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing invoices for large-scale Bulk, Truckload, and LTL shipments
  • Providing additional assistance to logistics planners when needed
  • Managing incoming shipments for company storage facilities that require payment upon receipt
  • Displaying strong teamwork abilities while carrying out assigned tasks

The ideal candidate:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a logistics role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • SAP or similar system experience required
