Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee facilities and equipment at our production plant. In this role, you will lead a technician team, maximize equipment uptime, and uphold strict safety and workplace compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the repair and preventative maintenance of processing machinery, packaging lines, and conveyors to minimize downtime.
- Facility Oversight: Manage plant infrastructure, including refrigeration, utilities, and building structures, while coordinating with external contractors.
- Team Leadership: Guide, train, and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities strictly align with regulatory laws and food safety standards.
- Budget & Inventory: Manage the department budget, track expenses, and control spare parts inventory cost-effectively.
- Data Tracking: Maintain detailed records of work orders, equipment history, and performance metrics.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing facility.
- Strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment and systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, food safety standards, and GMPs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as SQF, FDA, USDA, and HACCP.
