Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for an exciting position near Baton Rouge LA. This company offers exceptional benefits and internal opportunities. 

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include: 

  • Acting subject matter expert in equipment failures and repairs for rotating equipment 
  • Offering technical expertise as needed  
  • Providing input on capital projects 
  • Leading expense projects planning and execution 
  • Assisting in developing maintenance budget 

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 
  • At least 5 year of maintenance/reliability experience within a chemical or heavy industrial environment 
  • Understanding of rotating equipment
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and team skills
