Media Supervisor (fully remote option available)

Independent media agency in NYC is seeking a strong Media Supervisor with solid digital expertise (inclusive of paid social) to join its team.  While the agency is located in Manhattan, this employee can work remotely from anywhere in the US. This Media Supervisor will be client facing, focus on developing/leading strategy, and manage a team of direct reports (previous management and strategy experience required). The role will focus in digital and candidates must have solid foundation in and proven ability to plan, execute and analyze digital campaigns across paid social, display, native and video.  While the role will focus on digital, an omnichannel mindset coupled with deep digital experience is ideal. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing media strategy, planning, campaign management, data, insights and analytics
  • Oversees/manages planner/assistant planners and day-to-day operation of all media activity
  • Cultivate assigned client/agency relationships and fulfill client needs
  • Committed involvement in the development of media strategies and the drive to bring them to fruition
  • Building strong long-term relationships with media vendors/suppliers on behalf of agency and clients
  • Determines and supervises the best possible implementation of all approved communication plans and projects

Job Requirements

Skills And Experience

  • 4-6+ years related experience
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
  • Experience with media research tools (MRI, Kantar, etc.)
  • Must have strong knowledge of Campaign Manager (trafficking and reporting) and Google Analytics
  • Must have hands on platform experience planning and activating paid social campaigns across Facebook/Instagram and Twitter
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills required
  • Must possess strong written, presentation and verbal skills
