Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop solutions to technical problems and issues in the Microscopy Laboratory, including analysis, interpretation, and reporting of test results, to resolve product/process and customer problems. Conduct independent investigative work including R&D into new areas, and present results in interdepartmental meetings. Develop new test methods and provide training. Supervise work by Lab Technicians, Interns, and junior staff as assigned and assist them in resolving technical problems. Perform related responsibilities as directed. The Microscopy group has 4 staff plus the Group Leader.
- Problem solving and technical support for global customers and plants
- On the order of 300 Laboratory Tests / 30 technical reports per year
- Potential for global plants, global NPD, global specialty, global external customers
- SEM / EDS, TEM / Image Analysis, Image Processing, XRD, IFM, LM, Various Sample Prep

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications:
Associates or BS Science degree with 4+ years of experience, microscopy analysis of inorganic particles like graphene / graphite / carbon or pigment particles for Batteries, Coatings, Composites, Plastics. SEM / EDS, TEM / Image Analysis, Image Processing, XRD, IFM, LM, Various Sample Prep
