NPD Chemist

Small privately owned company looking for an experienced new product development chemist to join their team.  If you have experience in new product development in the CASE industry and are looking to join a growing organization, this could be a great fit for you!  This role also has potential growth opportunities!

Duties:

• Formulate new product development by ushering new products from concept to commercialization
• Perform scale up with production and manufacturing
• Perform optimization of products
• Provide technical support to customers on products
• Ability to run projects through stage gate
• Able to lift 50 lbs. at a time multiple times throughout the day
• Contributes to a culture of safety, following protocols throughout the organization, and other internal policy / procedures

Technical Qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry or related
• 5+ years of experience in product development in the case industry
• Someone who can work with customers and provide technical support
• Experience in performing scale up and commercialization of new products
• Self-driven
• Attention to detail
• Someone who can collaborate, but also work independently
• Someone who is willing to use scientific knowledge to problem solve
• Someone who is comfortable with a fast-paced environment
• Someone who is comfortable mentoring and training others
