Operations Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals

Our client is a chemical manufacturer of a wide range of chemical-based products used in multiple different markets. They are in search of an operations engineer with the ability to handle an array of duties/responsibilities and collaborate with employees of all levels. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, problem solver with PSM experience.  This is a position that has promotion potential. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead manufacturing production solutions
  • Recognize areas of improvement and execute projects to improve performance, product quality, etc.
  • Daily manufacturing support and troubleshooting 
  • Review data analysis and create solutions
  • Head small capital projects 

Salary Range: $120,000/year - $125,000/year plus 7% yearly bonus

Job Requirements

As an Operations Engineer, requirements include but are not limited to:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in chemical plant
  • Any Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing training ideal
  • Background in PSM
  • Experience executing projects in $100k range
