Job Description

Title: Paraplanner

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Para Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our financial advisors to provide support in developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist financial advisors in the preparation of financial plans, including gathering client data, analyzing financial information, and creating financial projections
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of financial planning concepts and strategies
  • Conduct research on investment products and services to support financial planning recommendations
  • Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings, including investment performance reviews, retirement projections, and other financial planning analyses
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to deliver exceptional service to clients and build strong relationships
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Assist with other duties as assigned, including administrative tasks and support for marketing and business development initiatives

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial planning or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, including eMoney and/or MoneyGuidePro, is preferred
